Nathan's past growing up during the calamity isn't fun more so if everyone hates/fears your existence. The twin's mother used to tell them stories of the fey and sometimes he beg them to take them away far from here. It never happened.
Maeska the Moorbounder is a bristleback moorbounder that is Nathan's paladin steed. She died in the past but Nathan revived her using the Find Steed spell which is choosing to stay with Nate. Maeska has a history with the twins.
