Years ago I went to a retreat with a group exercise to paint on a huge paper-covered wall. We had all sorts of brushes, spatulas, spoons, anything you could imagine that could be used to apply paint. It was chaotic & fun! Here's my favorite bit.

A quilt roughly 3 ft by 4 ft, with a white background and patchwork angel style wings in shades of purple, starting with the darkest in the middle and lightening toward the outer edges and bottoms of the wings. It's got a deep blue border around the whole thing.
This is Kali's Wings, and is one of the quilts I am most proud of. I've made a lot of quilts but this one, it turned out exactly as I imagined, with over 700 2" squares. It was in honor/memory of a friend, & raised money in an auction for pancreatic cancer research in her name. #creationadaypost
