Loctite and helicopter tape solved the mudguard problem, which is just as well as I think I might have to switch back to the Bianchi oltre for a while until the brakes are fixed on the Arcadex.

Update:
Just been and checked the bike. It's time spent in the car hasn't made it any worse and on checking there's enough stopping power in the back brake, and just enough in the front for it to be rideable.

On a more controversial note, new bottles. My bottle cages destroyed my last pair from the Bike Shed. Don't worry the cages are being replaced as well for some that don't grip my bottles so tight I can't actually get them out with winter gloves on. The fit was a little snug 😏 #cyclistproblems

There it is, the bain of any athlete’s existence, cramps! I got a cramp in my left calf and decided to cut my ride down from 35 miles to 23 miles. I was able to work the cramp out while still on my bike.
