Satellite image captures three tropical cyclones spinning in the South Pacific at once Tropical cyclones Rae, Seru and Alfred are churning as the region’s season reaches its peak

Three cyclones at once in the South Pacific: #CycloneAlfred off Queensland, #CycloneSeru which hopefully won't go too close to Vanuatu, and #CycloneRae north of Fiji.

Could it be related to #fossilfuel driven #climatechange by any chance 🤔

UPDATE: The Fiji Meteorological Service has upgraded Tropical Low 09F — also known as #CycloneNineteen — to a tropical cyclone and has assigned it the name Rae.

Tropical Storm #19P has developed and is expected to potentially impact the smaller islands of eastern #Fiji. The JTWC is forecasting a high end Category 1 #Cyclone peak within the next 36 hours! Next Name = #Rae
