Some game designer was feeling sadistic when he designed Infini Palace 3F. You have to run around the entire level in a big circle 8 times to fully investigate the 8x8 grid of one-way doors in the corner- which turns out to contain NOTHING. 😡 🤜 💥 😵 #digitaldevilstory #jrpg #retrogaming

Sea of Fire is not as hard as previous levels in terms of combat, but it offers obnoxious enemies like this guy, who you have to run from because fighting burns too much HP. Or the Hydras, which seem to spawn 7 of these guys after dying. #digitaldevilstory #jrpg #retrogaming 🧵
