Home: Crystal Tokyo Series: Sailor Moon First Appearance (Manga): Usagi - Sailor Moon (1991) First Appearance (Anime): A Moon Star is Born / The Crybaby: Usagi's Beautiful Transformation (1995) Usagi Tsukino was many things, clumsy, lazy, behind in class, but at her core, she was a kind girl who wished to be a great hero, maybe even a princess. In reality, she was both, the reincarnation of the great Sailor Moon, a noble and powerful princess from an era long before the Multiverse. After she gathered her fellow Sailor Senshi, they became protectors of their world, fending off all manner of evil, with Usagi in particular having a talent for purifying malice. As she uncovered her past, Usagi also learned that her family was not only one of peaceful rulers, but guardians of the Sacred Heart of All Worlds, half of which had been summoned before in the past, and now a young boy was being lead to summon the other half by sinister forces. Meeting this Keyblade Wielder in a town of magic blobs, Usagi hoped to help him figure things out, and prevent disastor.
(Having purified Sig, at least for the time being, Usagi and Sora smile as Amitie hugs her friend) Amitie: You're okay! I thought we lost you! Sig: Uh yeah. Glad to be back. (Smiles a bit) Sora: Thanks, Usagi, you really did us a solid here. Usagi: It's what I do! But Sora, I need to talk to you. Why are you trying to summon Kingdom Hearts? Sora: (Jumps a bit at this question) Wha-!? I mean, Marluxia said it could stop Xemnas. Usagi: Oh come on, both of us could take him on, you don't need to do what some edgelord tells you! Sora: Yeah, but... he has soemone important to me... I think... Usagi: (Tilts her head) Eh? Sora: Namine, I was looking for her but... my memories haven't been feeling right for a few worlds now. (Looks back at Amitie and Sig) Wow, they're still hugging. Usagi: (Smiles) She really cares about him, it made snapping him out of it easy. Sora: Kinda reminds me of someone. I thought it was Namine but- (Sees the two as Kairi hugging him as a Heartless) Huh!? (Namine watches Sora's realization from the nearby forest) Usagi: Something wrong? Sora: I... I dunno. (Turns to Usagi) Usagi, I'm sorry if I'm worrying you. Usagi: Don't worry about it, I'm here to help. Help save your friend, not summon the giant God-Heart, obviously. (2008) Once a meek digger forced underground by the tyrannical Spiral King, Simon found himself being pulled into a fight against that very oppression, inspired by his brother to take his drill and pierce the Heavens. In his journey to liberate the world, Simon stumbled upon the Spiral King's daughter, Nia Teppilin, an innocent-minded girl who Simon found himself bonding with as they worked together to overthrow her father. With the people of the world freed, Simon and Nia could sense someone reaching out to them, from a distant world covered in water. A fellow digger? Perhaps not, but a friend nonetheless, who sees a significant light in Nia they believe is important...
(From his Gummi Ship, Sora shows Simon, Nia, and Tron the Multiverse beyond their own worlds) Sora: See all those stars? Those are all the other worlds out there. Simon: There's so many... Nia: Simon, do you think maybe one day we can make a ship like this and see those other worlds? Simon: (Blushes) Huh? Yeah! Together, we'll pierce the Heavens and see what's beyond! Nia: Nothing out there can stop us! Sora: That's the spirit! Keep on going, don't let any Heartless, Grimm, or anything get you down! Tron: (Pouts) Is that what you tell yourself? While you're wearing that? Sora: Huh?
Tron: That coat, you said the guy who kidnapped your little blonde friend made you wear it! Sora: He said it's supposed to protect me from Darkness. Tron: (Looks at him indignantly) From everything I heard from you, you don't need that stupid thing! Simon: (Excitedly) She's right, Sora, don't let that Marluxia punk decide your limits! Nia: (Also excitedly) Take it off! Tron: (Her face is now red) Don't say it like that- Sora: ... You're all right! (Takes his coat off, tossing it aside) There's a Light in my Heart that'll never go out, no matter how deep into the Darkness I go! Tron: Heh, I like this you better. Simon: That's the spirit, Sora! Sora: (Smiles, then glances at Nia, realizing something) Speaking of Light, Simon, can I ask you something? Simon: Huh? Sora: Nia, I think she might be the very Light of your world. Home: Shibuya Series: Persona First Appearance: Persona 5 (2016) Once a young girl whose mother was taken away by a corrupt law enforcer, Futaba Sakura was taken away from her abusive relatives and raised by her mother's friend, but still fell into a deep enough depression to try and goad the legendary Phantom Thieves into stealing her Heart. In the end, the Thieves helped Futaba face her fears and took her into their ranks as their navigator and, in her own words, status buffer, taking the name Oracle. In the coming years, the Phantom Thieves made a killing dealing with corrupt individuals not just on their world but others, eventually turning their eyes on a world that really spoke to Futaba, one that functioned like a video game. To her surprise, a boy her team had heard a lot about in their travels was there too, reeling over a horrifying revelation about his new enemy. Perhaps he needs some support?
Ramona: So wait, this kid does what? Sora: Steals Hearts apparently. I'm not really into it either, but- Futaba: Trust me, we stop all sorts of rotten people! Murderers, rapists, corrupt bosses! Sora: I don't know what that second one is, but it's next to murder, so it's probably bad. Ramona: ...yeah. Knives: That's so cool! So do you go into their heads or something! Futaba: Eh, sort of, it's kinda weird. But hey, after learning there were other worlds, we figured we'd deal with any twisted Hearts out there. Turns out this world's got quite a few of them. Ramona: Don't remind me... Sora: (Stares off a bit) I wonder if I can get on that list... Futaba: What? That Master of Masters guy? Don't worry, you're not like him! But hey, as long as I'm here, might as well help you! Namine told me a lot about you, you're like an RPG hero or something! Sora: (Flattered) Cool! I don't know what that is! Kim: Anyone on your team a detective, we've been trying to find someone important to us. Futaba: No detectives on our team. But I'll see what I can do! (Thumbs up) Sora: Heh, you're really perky for your kind of job, aren't you? Futaba: I'm basically in a video game world, why wouldn't I be happy!? (Ramona, Kim, and Knives exchange glances) Kim: Oh you poor, innocent thing. Sora: Hey, how did you find me anyway? Futaba: Tracked your Gummi Phone. It was easy. Sora: Huh. Think you can get me in contact with some other phones then? There's some people I wanna reach... Ramona: Uh, Sora, I'd be more concerned when someone says they hacked your phone- Futaba: Sure, might take a bit, but I can manage! I kinda owe you for expanding my team's horizons.

Home: Remnant Series: RWBY First Appearance: Red (2012) The leader of a team of Huntresses from a world deep in the Realm of Darkness, Ruby Rose met Sora in Traverse Town while searching for the mystical Kingdom Hearts, in hopes that it could not only restore her world after the Heartless consumed it, but destroy the source of the soulless, destructive Grimm that plagued the Multiverse. Stumbling upon a page from the Book of Prophecies, Ruby learned her world and countless others were fated to die, a future she refused to allow. While her search for such godly power uneased Sora, he soon learned she was far kinder than she appeared and she helped him fight his way through Ansem's hordes of Heartless to save everyone, giving up a chance to nab Kingdom Hearts in the process. But now that she knows it is indeed real, Ruby continues to lead her team in search of it, but upon finding Sora in a world where a madman just blew a chunk out of the moon, she decides to aid him once more, realizing he's been pulled into a similar plot by a less benign source, all to save someone. A harsh feeling she can relate to all too well.
(Sora, Sonic, Tails, and Amy all look up at the wrecked moon) Ruby: (Appears behind Sora) If it helps, my world's moon looks worse. You could just turn that one around and pretend it's fixed. Sora: Ruby! Sonic: Friend of yours? Ruby: Name's Ruby Rose, Huntress! Amy: Amy Rose, Hedgehog! Sonic: (Chuckles) How about that. Tails: Sonic, I think I can scout a way up to the ARK. Sonic: Let's hear it, pal! (As the two hedgehogs and fox discuss their strategy against Eggman, Ruby pulls Sora to the side) Ruby: Sora, why did you call on me all the way out here? Sora: Oh, uh, I really wasn't thinking. (Smiles nervously) Ruby: Uh huh. You know you're getting pretty close to the split between your realm and mine at this point. Sora: I am? Wow, that's funny... Ruby: What are you doing out here, Sora, be honest. Sora: ...I'm trying to save someone I don't think I've ever met, while some creepy guy in a hood wants me to summon Kingdom Hearts but it's made of Darkness. And now I think she's trying to erase herself from my fake memories because she doesn't want me to find her anymore after she probably caused me to nearly snap and become a puppet for some dark floating eyeball. Ruby: (Blinks) ...Wow... That's a doozy. Sora: I feel like I'm walking towards something awful, but I can't just leave her with him!
Ruby: (Puts a hand on his shoulder) Sora, I get it. There's always gonna be tough choices out there. Sora: Like searching for Kingdom Hearts to destroy the Grimm? Ruby: No, that was an easy one, I want those things gone. But I know it can't be easy, stepping into the dark, but doing it to save someone... Tails: They know we can still hear them, right? Amy: All that to save a girl he's never met, sounds like a Hedgehog I know... Sonic: Hey, I met you before that deal with Metal. You kept following me everywhere. Tails: I don't think we have time for this, Eggman said we have 24 hours before he fires again. I think If ound a rocket we can use to get up there. Sonic: Awesome! Hey, Sora, you coming! You can bring your friend too! Sora: Huh? Oh yeah, let's stop that egghead! Ruby: We'll crack him open!

Home: Milky Way Wonders Series: Kirby First Appearance: Kirby: Planet Robobot (2016) The daughter of the Haltmann Works Company's founder, Susie wound up lost to her father for years through a cruel twist of fate, and by the time she had found him again, he couldn't even remember her. The now corrupted company had set its sights on Planet Popstar, leading to a run-in with Kirby that ended the Haltmann Works' schedule of invasions. With her father sadly lost to her again, Susie made peace with Kirby and left for parts unknown, hoping to achieve her father's original dream of bringing prosperity through science. Years passed, and the impact Sora left on many worlds made business quite lucrative for Susie, and upon learning that Sora was currently trying to protect one of their business partners from an extinction-level event, Susie obliged to assist him.
(Susie readies a rocket to send Sora and Tron to the moon) Susie: Okay, we'll keep the defenses up as long as we can, but it's up to you two to make sure that "Sera" doesn't go through with this. Tron: That shouldn't be too hard. Sora: Don't worry, Mega Man, we're coming! (Turns to Susie) Oh, and thanks for helping with this, Susie! Susie: It's the least I could do, you letting other worlds know what else is out there has made business quite lucrative. Tron: I sorta owe you for inspiring this little pirate empire of mine. (Looks away, clearly unhappy) Makes you vanishing for a decade sting even more. Susie: Oh, that happened to you too, huh? Sora: You got lost too, Susie? Susie: .......... (Perks up) Oh, the rocket only has one seat, so you two will have to share one! Tron: (Blushes) Wha-!? But I see two on her- Susie: (Shoots the second chair to smithereens) No you don't! <3 Better get seated! This will be a mission you won't forget! Because trust me, being forgotten by the people you love stings in ways that just can't be described!~ Sora: Susie- Susie: (Rushes out of the rocket, shuts the door, and presses the launch button) 321LIFTOFF! Home: Gensokyo Series: Touhou Project First Appearance: The Highly Responsive to Prayers (1996) At the very split between realms, there exists two worlds on either side. On the Light side, a world of flourishing humanity, and on the Dark side, a barriered world of fantasy, Gensokyo, guarded by a spacy shrine maiden who yearns for donations. While untrained and often indifferent, Reimu Hakurei has tackled many threats and solved many incidents in Gensokyo, be they bratty vampires blocking out the sun, ghost princesses under the sway of an evil tree, Oni clouding the land in mist, or conflicts with pompous moon people, Reimu has seen it all, so when a friend of hers lures her out of Gensokyo to aid a young boy in a town between Dark and Light, she simply rolls with it. After all, things always work out in the end, right?
(Sora, Ashley, and Serena look up in shock at Reimu, dangling on puppet strings from a rift with eyes in it) Reimu: Oh, look at that, you have strings too. Neat. (Sora stands there, unsettled) Ashley: What happened to you? Reimu: It's my job to solve incidents, and this one's a bit out of my comfort zone. Nothing I can't handle... Serena: Uh, what about... those things? Reimu: You can't tell me this is the weirdest thing you've seen around here. Besides, what is life without someone sometimes tugging your strings, leading you somewhere you don't know... Sora: That's enough! (Using his Keyblade, Sora cuts the strings holding up Reimu, actually surprising her as she falls to the ground, with Ashley catching her) Ashley: You okay? Reimu: I could land on my own. (Looks at Sora) Dramatic, aren't you? Sora: You feel better, Miss? Reimu: I'm fine. Are you? Serena: Sora, what did she mean by "You have strings too?" Sora: Something I'm trying to fix... Reimu: You won't fix it by standing there. (Floats out of Ashley's arms and down the street, with the three following)

Home: Mushroom Kingdom, Grand Finale Galaxy (Mask is from Termina?) Series: SMG4 First Appearance (As a Melon): Mario Alone (2019) First Appearance (With a Face and Voice): Mario's Mask of Madness (2020) A fair distance from Princess Peach's Castle, there were some showgrounds where all manner of plays and movies were made, and like the rest of the kingdom, it attracts a lot of weirdness. One day, as the Mario Brothers were pursuing a long-eared thief who had pilfered some masks from the Princess' treasury, one mask of unknown origin slipped and fell onto a watermelon left on the showgrounds, giving it a new form, that of a powerful but lethargic and easygoing girl named Melony. It didn't take much for her to fit into the odd world around her, but as her dark powers and memories of a distant world became known to her, she sought ways to train and control this power. This drew the relaxed melon towards quite a few conflicts, eventually bringing her to Sora's aid in a far away kingdom that seemed a tad familiar to her. Having heard a bit about Sora from her friends back home, she figured helping him fight the forces of evil threatening their worlds would be the perfect way to channel her powers. And it'd make for some fun manga to draw later.
(In a safe spot in the sandstorm-covered Gerudo Desert, Sora and Melony look down at the narcoleptic watermelon girl Sora just summoned) Sora: See? I can still do magic! Riju: Does that include sleeping spells? (Tries to wake up Melony) Excuse me, are you comfortable down there? Melony: (Yawns) I'm comfy anywhere. (Extends her hand out, accidentally lifting the one with huge blade that barely misses the two) Oops. (Raises her empty hand for Sora to shake) My name's Melony, I'm here to help. Thinking about Zora, Gorons, Gerudos... Riju: You know about this land's people? Sora: That's weird, I pulled you from Mario's world. Melony: Maybe it's this mask? (Takes her mask off, briefly turning into a watermelon, leaving the two dumbfounded, then reverts to her humanoid form) I've been getting all sorts of memories since I got it. Sora: Sounds like you have memories that aren't your own. Melony: (Shakes her head) Whatever, I can help you. Riju: In that case, our people have been driven underground by shambling hordes of the undead. Melony: ... Sora: Melony? Melony: (Stares off, as if in a trance, before drawing her blade, here eyes flickering white) I'll keep you two safe... Riju: She seems motivated suddenly. Sora: Maybe it's those memories?

Home: The Dark Lands, Grand Finale Galaxy Series: Super Mario Bros. First Appearance: Super Mario Sunshine (2002) The Mushroom Kingdom has been menaced for years by the people of the Dark Lands, lead by the Demon King Bowser, who had many children, among them his son, Bowser Jr. Impulsive, impatient, and impudent, Jr. was nonetheless quite a powerful foe for the Mario Brothers and Princess Peach, and overtime, learned what truly made his father a great leader, and sought to live up to his example. Upon learning that a sorcerer who helped Mario defeat his father years ago had returned, Jr. decided these "monsters" he was fighting should be dealt with before they devour his kingdom and people. With Kamek's guidance, Jr. found this boy in a land of forgotten cartoons. Sounds like a fun adventure in store, maybe even some new potential frie-er, minions, but ever the proud little prince, Jr. couldn't simply go up to an enemy and ask for help... could he?
Sora: (Gesturing to Shadow Mario) Your highnesses, this is Mario! And he's got a brush too now! Oswald: .....Is he supposed to be blue with red eyes? Sora: That's probably just some new power-up he's got, right Mario? Shadow Mario: (Nervously pauses, then jumps around) It's a-me! Let's a-go! So long, gay Da- AH! Bowser! Ortensia: Sounds like he's faking it. Oswald: Well, if he's a friend of Sora's he's a friend of ours. Shadow Mario: Haha, great! Now, where are those bosos we're fighting!? Sora: Wow, Mario, you're real excited! A guy I know, Pete, he's trying to find this world's Heart- Oswald: Which we don't have. Sora: Wanna help an old friend out, Mario? Shadow Mario: Uh, sure! That's a-what friends do, right? Let's a-go, hahaha! (Sora and Shadow Mario rush out to find Pete) Ortensia: Honey, keep an eye on them, that guy gives me weird vibes. Oswald: Maybe he just wants to hang out with Sora. He seems to know him pretty well. (Shadow Mario jumps on Sora's head, ready to head out with his new ally)

Home: Copper-9 Series: Murder Drones First Appearance (As a Corpse): The Promening (2023) First Appearance (In Person): Mass Destruction (2024) Deep in the Realm of Darkness, on a colonized planet, the remains of humanity's hubris beholds the independence of their mechanical slaves. TLDR; humans died and robots picked up the pieces they left. It seemed they finally had a future, but the Worker Drones of Copper-9 were blissfully unaware of what truly caused the end of their creators. All but a few who witnessed the core collapse, among them a mute infectee, Yeva. While traumatized from the events, Yeva found a new life in the frozen wastelands, even getting married and having a daughter. All seemed quiet, until one night, she was met with a strange light beckoning to her, a light from some kid trying for the first time to tap into her realm after a run-in with a matter most dark, but instead of finding something menacing, he just reached a cute little robot. With her husband and daughter both asleep, Yeva cautiously grabbed a kitchen knife, and walked into the light...
(In the abandoned mall of Shiver Star, while Kirby, Ribbon, Dedede, and Bandana Dee enjoy some hot chocolate, Adeleine looks out a window at the frozen city, while Sora talks with Yeva) Sora: So that's why you're here. Sorry about that. Yeva: (Looks concerned) Sora: (Nervously) Yeah, I'm going somewhere dangerous, but if it's for her... Yeva: (Nods) Sora: (Perks up) You'd do that too if it was someone you cared about, huh? Yeva: (Mimes craddling a baby) Sora: Aw, you have a kid! What's your world like? Yeva: (Jumps in the air, stretching her limbs out to mimic an explosion) Sora: Oh, yikes. Heartless? Yeva: (Shakes head) Sora: What happened to the people of your world? Yeva: (Slumps over with X's in her eyes) Sora: I don't get it. (Notices Adeleine painting a more beautiful city on some canvas) Hey, Ado, want some hot chocolate? Adeleine: ... Yeva: (Sees Adeleine's reaction to the frozen landscape, then users her powers to duplicate the mug of hot chocolate Kirby was drinking, levitating it over to Adeleine) Adeleine: ... (Smiles and accepts the drink) Yeva: (Smiles, satisfied, but then gets picked up by Sora, to her shock) Sora: Wow, that was awesome! You know magic too!? Yeva: (Gives an aside glance, realizing she's gonna have to be the adult here)

Home: Sequin Land Series: Shantae First Appearance: Shantae (2002) One of Sequin Land's Half-Genie guardians, Shantae was raised in the humble danger-magnet that is Scuttle Town, tangling with dastardly pirates, hypnotic barons, one-eyed warlords, deadbeat squids, and life-draining sirens. Her adventures have netted her many friends, many enemies, and many frenemies. Her talents in magic mostly allow her to transform through dance, allowing her to handle all sorts of (usually platform-related) problems. She's recently gone on vacation, which spiraled into yet another adventure fighting off the vile Empress Siren with the help of her fellow Half-Genies (and a zombie), and as they put on a show to celebrate the world being saved yet again, Shantae found herself being surrounded by a strange, beautiful light. When it finally dissipated, she was on-board a ship in the cosmos, with a youthful man on a throne with a giant key in his hand. Shantae: Nice ship, kinda big though. Sora: Aren't pirate ships supposed to be big? Shantae: The ones I've seen about a little bigger than a house. And they're also used to take over the world. (Looks at Sora, suspecting something) Sora: That must be a real powerful tiny ship. Shantae: What I mean is, what are you using this ship for? Sora: Sailing. = D Shantae: Uh huh. And you're not looking to instigate any hostile takeovers? No evil schemes? Sora: What kind of pirate do you think I am!? Shantae: (Smiles) Just making sure. Sora: Oh. Well hey, if you're a Genie, do I get three wishes? Shantae: Half-Genie. Sora: So 1 and a half wishes? Shantae: ...This is your first time meeting a Half-Genie, isn't it? Sora: Not really, I summoned another one years ago! She was also half-zombie! Shantae: Uh...

Finn grew up to be Ooo's resident hero, making many friends, enemies, and enemies-turned-friends in his adventures with his brother Jake. From a king cursed by an ancient crown to a lich that sought the end of all life, from a vampire-demon queen to countless princesses, Finn has seen it all, and in his travels, he had collected quite a few treasures, one of which being the Enchiridion, a book that could access the greater Multiverse. While trying to read it after a great war, Finn found himself called upon for a great quest. Heroism was in Finn's Heart just as much as blood was, so when he was called upon by Sora to help vanquish an evil calmity, how could he not accept? Sora: Wait, you don't want me to go with you? Link: (Shakes head) Sora: Oh come on. I get it, you're worried, but I can take whatever Ganon throws at us. Hey, I can make sure we don't fight it alone! Home: Skyworld Series: Kid Icarus First Appearance: Kid Icarus (1986) Years ago before his disappearance, Sora faced many a foe in the coliseum of Olympus, including an effiminate, perky, but powerful Angel from the Heavens above. A servant of the Goddess of Light, Pit was quite impressed with Sora's growing strength. Perplexed with his vanishing, Pit fought in his Goddess' name against the growing numbers of Heartless and Grimm across the Multiverse for years, and upon learning of the mysterious reappearance of Sora, Pit offered his services to the newly dubbed Keyblade Master. A being of Light or Darkness, it mattered not, if Sora was to face a great evil, he'd have Heaven's greatest warrior backing him up. (Sora, Simon, Nia, and Yoko look on in shock as a bright light fills the sky) Sora: Uh, does Spiral Power usually do that!? Simon: Looks like you pierced the Heavens... Yoko: Yeah, and I think the Heavens want you to knock it off. Palutena: Sora, vanquisher of Xehanort, Simon and Nia, vanquishers of the Spiral Nemesis, I- You know what, I'm skipping the formalities, I have a warm bath preparing at the moment. Pit, take over from here. (Pit descends from the skies, joining hands with Sora) Pit: (Cheerfully) Remember me! You wrecked me in the coliseum! Sora: Oh yeah, sorry about that. Splatoon (2017) First Appearance (Sunset Paradise): Pilot (2021) A plucky, energetic girl that the Mario Bros. and Peach knew from a previous trip to another kingdom, Meggy has always wondered what to do with her life, and found herself spiraling into inane board game parties, where she made many friends and a very notable rival who drove her to be better. One harrowing day however would deprive her of her rival and her sense of self, and at Mario's encouragement, took a vacation to Port Aurora, only for more chaos to ensue there. In the end, Meggy pulled herself together and helped the local sheriff bring peace back to the island, but while pursuing a thief that was fleeing the island, Meggy heard someone calling out to her, some boy named Sora, another friend of the Bros. and Princess. Sora: See, guys? I can summon people! (Sora gestures to a puddle of orange stuff on the ground) Wario: Wow, you summoned a puddle of orange juice, I'm on my knees. Luigi: Are they okay? Daisy: It smells like paint. What the heck did you just call here? Mario: (Looks at the puddle, then recognizes it) Hey! Meggy: (Rises out of the orange ink) Woomy! I'm fresh off vacation and ready to kick some ass!
