The 36 characters in the Old Persian cuneiform script, which is a part-alphabet, part-syllabary, and also a part-logographic writing system (see next picture) First used to write Old Persian around 500 BC, Old Persian cuneiform would later be replaced by the Aramaic script in the 4th century BC. While many Old Persian texts were inscribed in stone and other hard materials, this cuneiform system pictured was recreated by me in terracotta clay
The 8 logograms used in Old Persian cuneiform, used for 5 words in Old Persian. First used around 500 BC, the relatively short-lived cuneiform system would be replaced by the Aramaic script in the 4th century BC. The logographic characters are the words for king, earth, god, country, and Ahuramazdā, the principal god in Zoroastrianism, the religion practiced in Persia at the time. king - xšāyaθiya earth - būmiš- god - baga- country - dahyāuš- Recreated by me in terracotta clay

📔In a way, Algospeak reminds me of subversive puns in Chinese to get around censorship (Eg. 草泥马 and 河蟹). Instead of avoiding persecution, Algospeak focuses on sidestepping moderation in online spaces
