T.M. is no mere entertainer, but a manipulator of dark powers indirectly linked to Mr. Dark. From the beginning, he pretends to be an ally in order to study Rayman and grasp his limitations; his bonus trials serve to gather useful information for the enemies of the Glade of Dreams.<nln>The flash of his scepter erases memories and covers his tracks. He always hides his eyes behind his top hat, detectors of his true nature and the forbidden magic he uses. Mr. Dark watches Rayman out of fear, T.M. out of calculation and strategy. T.M. becomes the secret source of information that Mr. Dark uses to set his traps.<nln>The fact that the T.M. said that Mr. Dark has begun to threaten the Glade and must be defeated at all costs is because he is already known there, drawing attention solely to him.<nln>After Mr. Dark's defeat, T.M. disappears so as not to arouse suspicion, but continues to operate in the shadows, more dangerous than before and after having gnawed that Mr. Dark has revealed himself to be incompetent and Rayman is still alive, he still has to cover up his hatred for a while, before finally slipping away, pretending to have "disappeared" and covering all his tracks.<nln>Betilla suspects him, sensing distortions in his magic, but has no concrete proof. T.M. fears Betilla (and, to a lesser extent, her sisters), the only one capable of recognizing the unnatural nature of his powers. To provide a perfect cover, he acts friendly and cooperative, allowing him to study Betilla and approach Rayman without suspicion. Their relationship is a tense balance of smiles and hidden mistrust. Since Betilla protects Rayman, T.M. never dares to manipulate him directly.<nln>T.M. from Rayman Origins is just a copycat, fascinated by the legend of the original T.M., but he doesn't have the depth and danger of T.M., besides being of a different species (he's a Teensie) and having his eyes exposed.<nln>The original T.M. continues to watch Rayman, waiting for the right time to return
