A two page spread of a few things i saw on my walk
Top sketch: an attempt to clarify the underlying shape of the wings folding together on the back of a bald eagle Bottom sketch: a sketch of two bald eagles sitting on a branch. The eagles have white heads and tails and black/ brown wings and bodies. Their beaks are yellow and their brow creates a sharp, imposing expression. The sky is bright blue behind them, clear of clouds
Sketch: a roughly drawn squirrel Text: This squirrel ran up to me, its little footsteps thumping on the board walk far before i saw it.. we saw each other and both stiffened up, so absorbed in our own activities we didnt expect to see each other
Sketch: an old fallen log with a large hole, seeming to extend further into the trunk than we can see. Text: I wonder what has found shelter in this log.. it seems like a great place to shelter for a storm
Went out to our local marsh yesterday and did a few sketches. It was windy and a little cold though so there was only so much my fingers could take!
