Dassault Plans Major Rafale Production Increase to Meet Rising Global Fighter Demand Aviation News – Dassault Aviation plans to significantly expand production of its Rafale fighter jet, aiming to reach 48 aircraft per year by 2028–2029 to meet growing international demand. The French aircraft manufacturer currently holds an order backlog of about 220 Rafale jets, including major agreements for 114 aircraft for India and 100 for Ukraine. In response to this strong demand, Dassault has outlined a phased plan to gradually increase output from current levels toward four aircraft per month, while coordinating closely with suppliers and production partners across the industrial chain.
