Deadshot was tricky. I wanted to go for that classic look but also make it look like it fits in this Dieselpunk/Steampunk world... then, I had the weirdest inspiration: Mixing the jacket from the Rocketeer with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter! So I gave him that same Victorian look that Gotham By Gaslight would have, while also giving him his signature wrist-gun-bracers and a long sniper rifle to complete the look. I also gave him a broken brimmed hat to make room for his one red eye piece to make it look more prominent, if you look closely, you can see the crosshair in the eye piece as well! Overall a simple design for Deadshot compared to some of his canon or other fan designs, but I think the simplicity works really well!
Firefly took the longest to actually think of what to do with him. I was originally going to do a take on The Batman 2004 and the Arkham Series, but I felt those two designs just didn't fit the vibe of this Timeless Gotham... So, I went back to the drawing board and remembered the shelved Batgirl movie with Brendan Fraser as Firefly, and I actually really dug his design and hope that one day the movie can come out to streaming services, or hell maybe even DVD... But anyways, I inspired this Firefly off of that movie's version, with slight nods to the 2004 design with the color scheme and the helmet. I also decided to base a bit of this design off of the Rocketeer, as when I was really thinking about what Firefly should look like, it dawned on me that Deadshot wouldn't be the ONLY one using that jacket in this universe if it's universally available... So, I based his aesthetic off the Rocketeer and gave him a golden chestplate and helmet to boot, along with a fire shooting bracer on his left forearm so he can shoot fire with both hands next to his fire gun. This actually turned out to be one of my favorite designs out of this entire wave of villains, fitting because Firefly's always been one of my favorite underrated Batman villains.
It was till the very end of this drawing and when I deleted the Krita file that made me see that the Ghost's hands were comically big... Oh well. I guess he makes them big because he's dead. Anyways, this is your average Gentleman Ghost... the only thing I added was a mustache because I based both Ghost's design and lore off of H. H. Holmes, I figured if I was going to have horror of both the real world and the fictional worlds inspire this Gotham, then one of them has to be based off one of the most infamous serial killers... That's really all I can say about Gentleman Ghost as he is, again, your standard design; though I will say I do really like how I made him look ghostly with the blue line art and the gaussian blur on the outer edges, and this was from my first attempt since all my other ghostly attempts were rather... haphazardly done.
Lady Shiva isn't exactly a villain in the Timeless universe, but she is an assassin that would go after Batman for the money before Bruce enlists her teachings to make him a better combatant against assassins. Design wise, I based her off her usual classic design since it was simple and effective, only thing I added were the flower designs on the bottom of her coat but that's about it. Not the biggest fan of the pose I gave her, a part of me wished I gave her a sword pose and a sword in general, or her usual arms behind the back, authority pose but, eh it's fine. I also tried to do the Kaneko (former smt artist) black lip aesthetic, which I think turned out decently well, and I also tried to make her look a bit older since I would think Shiva was almost as old as Bruce usually, although in this universe she'd be like, 10 years older than Bruce seeing how he starts being Batman at only 21 years old. So, yeah! Lady Shiva, the deadliest woman in the DC Universe!
