The photograph shows a double tree trunk that has been dead for a long time. The bark has disappeared from the lower part, revealing light brown wood marked by twisted tunnels made by beetle larvae. Higher up, the bark is peeling off in sheets and is a darker brown color. The trunk branches into two, which grew close together. The photo is taken from the bottom up so that the double trunk can be seen all the way to the tips where there are still remnants of branches. Around it, you can see the branches of other trees and the sky, which is a rich blue color.
