Linux bash terminal showing history of flipping the radio to a different antenna for 160m, and turning on the preamp. Or switching back. Also shown, the GUI that shows the current frequency, current antenna port, preamp state, last poll timestamp, last antenna change timestamp.

#HamRadio guy. My #HF system band-hops 160 thru 6meters (10 bands) monitoring #FT8 traffic. On 1 of the bands, the radio needs to change antenna setting. Vibe-coded a python app that queries #flrig for the current frequency & sends command as needed to switch it (pictured).

A #HamRadio #Programming question.

My #FTdx3000 is able to remember which antenna to use for each band. But when #WSJTxImproved changes band (via #flrig) it overrides this & stays on one antenna port. It band-hops 24x7.
