That quietus from our existences to a warm cabin in woods, was offered as an experiment done in fantasy, yet without lying With dispassion we discussed the Puritan and the prurient alike in terms lambent then heated; without assumptions outlying-- An intellectual love affair chock-full of P and Qs triple-checked, scenarios simulated without fanfare, isn’t where most romance’s lying Yet in long odds, we proposed a possibility, maybe a legacy coveted-- and quickly, one by one, on the ground our clothes were lying.
