Fayette County approves Georgia Power-funded pocket park and 1,020-foot path along Veterans Parkway The Fayette County Board of Commissioners approved an agreement with Georgia Power to build a pocket park, roughly 1,020 feet of 12-foot-wide concrete path and landscaping along Veterans Parkway on county property. Georgia Power will cover up to $2 million in costs; the County will own and maintain the improvements.
