Chris Setzke, Michael Russello, et al. characterized changes in genetic diversity before & after a bottleneck in Kokanee in the Yukon in Canada. They successfully genotyped archival tissue using #GTseq, but did not find evidence of significant decline in genetic diversity after the crash #ConsGen

Audrey Harris, Matt Campbell, et al. developed a #GTSeq panel for monitoring Burbot! This paper is a great resource for panel development, as they detail their pipeline for microhaplotype & SNP selection, lab optimization & genotyping to reliably ID individuals, population structure & pedigree 🧬🐟
