A sign on a green wall that reads “UKRI Arts and Humanities Research Council.
RICHeS: RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE FOR CONSERVATION AND HERITAGE SCIENCE”
A slide showing three versions of a medieval statue depicting a saint carrying a child. The first version is a broken, old one; the second is painted green and more complete: the third is completely painted in bright colours.
In the foreground are two smaller, 3D printed versions of the second and third iteration of the statue.
A sculpture depicting pieces of old machinery arranged into a hedge.
🏺 Had a great time visiting the new RICHeS IHQ today! Was really exciting to see the new space, but also tour the rest of the campus and see what collaborative work is being done between heritage organisations and the UKRI labs.
