I've been experience some issues in #iTerm2 the last couple of releases (often requiring a `reset` in bash), so I finally decided to try #Ghostty. Pretty slick, and doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles I never needed anyway, not to mention I can store my config in git.

I think that I am replacing iTerm2 with @panic Prompt on all of my machines after playing with it for a few days. They have a $20/yr or $99 price model and I don't know what makes sense. I hate renting software, though.

Call me ole fashioned, but I prefer my console not to be a feature pane of the editor.
If anything, the I use the opposite: editors that are features of the console.

I have a color scheme for #nvim on my #Linux and I use the same one for my work #mac
It looks really great on #pop_os with #cosmic and cosmic-term
But on Mac with #iterm2 it looks totally different and wrong and it feels like syntax highlighting does not work....

Found out tod about Ghostty. Much, much responsive than iTerm2 on my M1 laptop. I recommend giving it a try. 😄

A week or two ago Ive switched from #alacritty to #iterm2 coz I found that alacritty drains my macbook battery. But iterm made the same thing. A made some tests and... battery was drained by tmux. Can you amagine? I changed #tmux to #zellij and magic happens. 900 to 1.7 - 12h power.
