Taken from inside the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum, the photo shows the theater screen with the announcement "Aug 9: Psychedelic Noir: Dragnet 1967-68)". Next to the screen text is a still image from the Dragnet episode "The LSD Story" featuring the teenager with a blue-and-yellow painted face who called himself "Blue Boy."
A copy of the bound script from Dragnet's first episode archived at UCLA Library. Included in this script are behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of that first episode (1951) that took place in Los Angeles City Hall.
Page 2 from this Dragnet script shows handwritten notes from Jack Webb. Webb added more details about Los Angeles City Hall to his introduction -> "This is the City Hall. The base is 476 feet on its longitudinal axis...the tower goes up 452 feet above the level of Main street. They put it up to stay -- limestone from France...marble from Tennesseee...gray California granite."
