A 5-panel Deltarune fan comic. In the first panel, Toriel and Alphys are outside the school at lunch time, mid-conversation. Toriel says "And I had to cut down all the foam boards to an even size with an X-Acto knife before giving them out for the craft project..." In the second panel, Alphys says "Is... I guess that's just part of the job when you're teaching the little kids?" and Toriel replies "Alphys, it was not one of my students who chewed it." (Jockington is visible in the background unhinging his jaw to swallow a hot dog) In the third panel, Alphys asks Toriel "Um, did an animal get in your house?" And in the fourth panel, Toriel replies "I... think it may have just came like that at the store and I did not notice because it was in a multi-pack." She remembers pulling aside the shower curtain at home to find Kris (already dressed for school) chewing up the edge of one of the foam boards and only being able to ask "Why... are you doing this?"

A sketch of Kris's classmates from the game, Deltarune. My initial thought when sketching this was, what if Kris's classmates are more like the animals/ creatures they're based on? That's how this was born, lol. My curiosity is now satisfied after that. Now, I know Berdly is the smallest real life inspired animal between the classmates lmao. I had difficulty in determining the sizes of hybrid inspired characters like Susie, so for the hybrids, there's not much difference between this theoretical sketch and their canon sizes (my interpretation). About the hearts notes, there's a theory I've read that Kris's classmates are the reincarnation of the 7 colored hearts in Undertale. I kinda think that maybe Toby implemented the heart soul virtues into the classmates because of story reasons, but the classmates being reincarnations of those hearts is still a pretty sick theory.... and also quite sad. Other than that, I noticed that there's a lot of details on the characters that I missed when drawing them. I guess that's why finishing your artwork is important, lol, to notice these kinds of stuff. I'll probably include those in another artwork. So, yeah. I don't mind if you want to ask or talk about anything from this post, by the way. I'm in the middle of colouring this right now. It'll take a while because I'm in uni right now. I'm gonna post these on my other socials once I can.
