First look, when I made them from whatever foam clay I had. Kirby eating a Takoyaki was simple enough to make. Kirby on the warp star was originally gonna be tilted kinda forward, but then as it was drying, I started to like how it looked tilted down. And the Kirby sleeping by a tree was the first one of the 3 I made. The tree kept squishing itself from the weight, which turned out to be a good strategy for making a tree bark texture.
Halfway through painting them. Not much of note occurred. It took about 6 hours total to paint them
Right after I finished them. I like how the Takoyaki turned out, and I loved adding the little bits on the plate base too. The tree one turned out just about as I expected I guess. But the star one is probably my favorite. I just like how it looks

I made 3 #Kirby clay models for my cousins on Christmas eve, so I had to wait a bit till I could paint em, but I grinded them today and they look pretty alright if I say so myself.
