Can't say enough about the flavor of this recipe
Makes 2 loaves. Mine were 3 days apart w/cold ferment and the 2nd was best.

Bread dough before going in the oven, dough is resting on the table. On the left is a round boule shaped like Jack skellington, and on the right is a long batard scored with a spider web pattern.
The same sourdough loaves as before but they have been baked, there is a deep brown color with some white flour dusting and lighter tan baked color in the seams. The Jack skellington loaf is on the left, and the dough has expanded such that his mouth looks wide open. The batard on the right is also shown, there is a clear “ear” where the seam is scored and there is more contrast in the spider web pattern, the web lines are dark.
Sometimes I bake sourdough.
