Libre Computer is making compute module versions of its latest Amlogic single-board computers Libre Computer has revealed that its working on new compute modules that use the same form factor as Raspberry Pi's CM4 and CM5, although there are a few differences in the pin layout, so it's unclear if they'll work with the same carrier boards. But Libre Computer says its coming modules are more energy-efficient thanks to "low power state support with features like wake-on-LAN/IR/IO/CEC and wake-on-camera/display." These tiny computers are also powered by Amlogic processors rather than the Broadcom chips preferred by Raspberry Pi.

Armbian has been working well for #librecomputer. I don't like cleaning BTRFS file system. I get it can be automated but I just don't like having a cron failing and leading to a kernal panic.

I needed to keep dog company while the plumber fixed a leak, so I grabbed some stuff & set it up on the dining room table. I tested small LLMs, then set it all up as a service and accessed it from my laptop.

Libre Computer Le Potato in a case with the top off.

Minor upgrade. Added an 128G eMMC module to my #LePotato running #pihole on #armbian. armbian-config made it simple to transfer the installed OS from the sd-card to the emmc module. Had to fix a permission problem on one file to get pihole web ui working again. #librecomputer
