Several stages of blue XPS foam blocks cladded with bamboo coffee stirrers. One side of the blocks is cut to have a slight inward slope so these things can be easily pushed against trench sides (I've cut them from a leftover section of trench wall). Some are only classed on two sides, some with only the top uncladded, and some all around. Fun extra: I just stuck the stirrers on with white glue and when set I snipped off the bits that stuck out with flush cutters. Quite a bit of force is needed to cut bamboo, so they'll travel up to 5 metres if not stopped or caught in an eye!

Inspired by @renegadejade 's firesteps and lacking them in the game with my mates 2 weeks back, I decided to make ten for my #TrenchCrusade table. I think I'll leave it at this because this took too much time, and parts of the coffee stirrers were flying around the […]

5 cultists surrounding the warrior type James Bonk, worth the Mage standing nearby ready to unleash hell. Slightly removed from that are two ranger types fighting a sixth cultist. Everyone else seems to be looking on from the walkway.

Tiled board of 12 x 16 stone slabs in various shades of grey. On the floor are 12 doric columns, evenly spaced in three rows of four columns each. Among the topmost row of columns are six cultists carrying two-handed weapons. At the bottom is a raised wooden walkway with two ladders going down from it, and in the centre of that walkway are ten player characters and one chicken. Of the ten characters, five are rangers. One is a mage with a spell book and a giant scythe, a second a generic knight type carrying a two-handed weapon, and then there are a cultist gone rogue carrying a crossbow, a cloaked Ranger carrying two swords, and a guy with a sword and a sack slung over his back. The companions are een ex with a two handed mace, a lad with a sword, a bald dude with a lantern and a sword, another clocked Ranger type, and at flabby messy haired clear Boris Johnson model with his moobs out in a wheelchair with a sword. And there's a chicken, as mentioned.

3 imperial musketeers models painted black and dry brushed bronze and given a bit of verdigris, on top of stone plinths that have been dry brushed grey with some light gray blue on top. The first is the Statue of Saint Kalashnikov, the Second of Saint Smith, and the third of Saint Wesson. Because I'm a child.

For tonight I realized we were short on three statues for #RangersOfShadowDeep, so I grabbed the first three models I could find and stuck them on plinths.

The trenches are nicely crisscrossy and there isn't a single line of sight across the whole table.
