UM clinic preserves legal history of Montana's tribes The Margery Hunter Brown Indian Law Clinic at UM has embarked on an ambitious project to create a digital archive of legal documents from each of Montana’s tribal nations.

The Indian Law Portal is a growing archive of legal documents from each of MT’s tribal nations. Adding forgotten legal agreements, opinions & ideas to the portal doesn’t just clarify & preserve history; it helps the realm of intertribal law grow. #NativeLaw #MTLaw
