No Bombs was a British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse best remembered for his jumping and flat racing career in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Earlier in his career in 1979, No Bombs finished first in a race at Ascot, turning heads with an impressive performance, however he was later disqualified after traces of a prohibited stimulant (caffeine and theobromine) were found in a post-race test. It was later revealed that No Bombs had swiped and eaten a Mars bar from his stable boy.
Despite being a set back and argubly the most notable tale of No Bombs, he would go on to win the prestigious Swinton Handicap Hurdle at Haydock Park in 1980.
