New numbers reveal 10,000-plus Ontario college layoffs, 600 programs cancelled or suspended over past year Post-secondary layoffs and program cuts — spread across 24 public colleges — have hit both urban and rural communities and nearly every discipline.

This is absolutely the fault of the Ford government (though the groundwork was laid by the Liberals before him). And it's happening in universities too, though the numbers are even harder to obtain.
