The re-recorded version of "West End girls" by Pet Shop Boys first entered the UK Official Singles Chart on November 16, 1985, at number 80. It entered the Top 40 the following week, and eventually reached number one on January 11, 1986.

Pet Shop Boys’ “Maxi-Mix” of Madonna’s “Sorry” is included on the 20th anniversary edition of her album “Confessions On A Dance Floor” which is released today. The remix topped the @billboard.com dance chart in the USA and was later included on Pet Shop Boys’ “Disco 4” album.

Last year, Pet Shop Boys released a souvenir clip from their intimate show at Funny Girls club in Blackpool, in which the audience provided the vocals for "It's a sin". Some fans have made a video adding phone footage to PSB’s video of that performance, now available to watch on YouTube.
