Hasegawa 1990 catalogue's inside cover showing a diorama, probably inspired by images of Soesterberg Air Base, including an F-111E and three F-15s. Modelling by: Mugen Kido No Kai, a name that probably relates to the anime 'Arcadia of My Youth', but which I cannot find anything about in scale model context.
Surely the images that most captured my imagination and made me want to become better at scale modelling, were these from the Hasegawa 1990 catalogue's inside cover. Full of Cold War atmosphere and gorgeous vignettes inside a larger diorama... See atl text for more info. #scalemodels #plasticmodels

Thought I'd build the Fujimi 1/700 Destroyer Sakura. Thus far I have gotten a turret tangled in my hair when I was inspecting details and dropped it on the floor and also flung the barrel away when I tried to pick it up with tweezers. And yes, I put my hair up now.

Not sure who's into this for sure so Im testing waters- been working on a plastic F-14 Tomcat model by Revell... the decals were naff, so I got actual ones based on a real squadron, from a real ship. It's been a challenge making them fit on the kit. Im coming- close :)
