Today I woke up thinking, how can I make this bedridden life nicer. I asked ChatGPT for some suggestions for soft classical music, it found me a video with a lot of the suggested ones in one. I put that one, starting up "100 Hidden Capybaras" game on Steam and started relaxing, 100% 😊

This was the same thing I got. And they KNOW about my #PPMS, #ADHD, and #PTSD.

Disabled people in Canada can't even get married w.o losing gov supports, common law partners can even have issues with benefits.

I've een diagnosed since 2023, still no disability benefits.

MS: Reflecting on THAT Day I have been writing about that big day. August 23rd, 2013. The day that I got the preliminary diagnosis for Multiple Sclerosis. Not an easy day. I found myself reflecting on it at various points over the last couple of days which is natural, even in the wake of some truly amazing news. A day that sticks in the memory. Foreboding I remember feeling bad that morning. Anxious. There had been two weeks of tests following an urgent referral from my doctor. It turned out that he had been worried I had had a stroke but let's leave that.

Trying something new these last two days. I have a little journal laying next to me all day and night which I can write in when thoughts appear. Hopefully it can help grant peace of mind and make falling asleep a bit easier.

Twelve Years August 23rd 2013. A date that sticks in the mind. The date that the results of various tests came in and led to an initial diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. It took another year to confirm the form. All of this has been covered before, though. What is important now, after twelve years, is to look at where I am and where I want to be.
