Oh, crap, looks like AMD Geode LX is not fully compatible with 8087 so it's a poor choice for DOS #retrocomputing.
The following #QuickBASIC program will hang:

(the original 8087 fails with an overflow)

In the 1990s I wrote a lot of applications on the various computer platforms I was into. When Commodore went under I had to switch my business to PC-based computers and subsequently I ported some applications over to the PC using QuickBASIC. #dos #quickbasic #qb45

I started with LOGO on a TRS-80 (I still own it) and from there moved on to #AppleBASIC, #QBasic then #QuickBasic. Eventually I moved up to #VisualBasic and #Perl and from there into #PHP and #CSharp. These days I #PowerShell script and webpages using #JavaScript and #Node.js
But it's all haphazard
