A metal tape measure next to a plastic Garklein. This tiny recorder is just over six inches long. The holes for the left & right hand are offset from each other so that the player can squeeze in all of their fingers. I have very small hands, so no problem!
The Aulos Garklein, its brown carrying case, and a fingering chart. Do not play those high notes indoors unless you have ear protection!
Just slightly over 6” long is the smallest of all #recorders, the #Garklein. (aka the #sopranissimo.) It is a C instrument, but has some slightly different fingerings from the soprano due to its small size. (Physics!) No double holes because it is too small. It is surprisingly in tune with itself.
