After recent work to provide quality, predator-secure nesting habitat for #waders and #terns it was great to see #RingedPlover and #LittleRingedPlover getting down to business. We've lost the former as a breeding species and the latter keep trying, so hopefully this year.... 🤞
Breeding #Eider numbers continue to climb with at least 57 nests located, up from 49 last year and 31 in 2020 and it's been a great year for breeding #waders with 5 pairs of #RingedPlover, 13 of #Oystercatcher and 9 of #Lapwing.
