This is from November. The plan was to do a rossfechtan practice but the snow and wind kicked up something fierce. For how bad it looks in this video, it was 100x worse in person.

Eventually the horses gave up and told us they were done. Smart horses. They unionized.

Rossfechten practice last week was shortened by a surprise snow squall and winds that blew everything horizontal. The horses eventually told us to sod off, so we packed it in early.

Pondering Fiore's mounted boar's tusk (wiktenauer.com/wiki/Fiore_d...). On foot the beat seems to rely on a the sword traversing the width of the body - as the sword rises from lower left to upper right it beats the opponents blade. ) /1
