Change _Change._ They say, The one thing you can count on is change. Sure seems to be true. Maybe change was slower when I was younger, or I just didn’t notice it, being self-absorbed in those early years, trying to figure out life. I sure see change now. The speed of it. The demise of things. The new. The old. The forgotten. The replaced. With all that change, some good and some bad. Some days it seems like more bad than good. Perspective? Maybe. It takes time to adapt to the new. Or, the fight against the new starts and never ends. Change takes several possible paths: * Ignore it, for as long as you can. * Adapt to it, find the good. * Fight it, rebel against it. Charge! * Sometimes, it’s just utter exhaustion, apathy to it all. I think of my great-grandmother, born in 1900, who lived for 106 years. She saw some change. Epic change. I never asked her how she thought of or coped with change. So much change possibly doesn’t affect you right away. You can note it and move on. Then one day, it affects you. Can’t I do this anymore? Why? This is crazy! _When did this change?_ The change in my field of aviation has been dramatic. I care about books. The change here has been abrupt and, in so many ways, bad. My wife was a Librarian for 10+ years, and that job is essentially gone now. How we read, digital books, DRM, and much more. The internet, A.I., websites, programming, and social media. It can all seem like a huge social experiment. I called my auto shop last month for some service work. I could not talk to a human. I made my service requests and set an appointment, all talking to an A.I. bot. In this case, it went well; I had no issues. I still don’t know how I feel about this. When it works, it seems to be fine; when it doesn’t, frustration rules the day. I see a day when it will be a paid add-on to talk to a human. *“Please press _7 to talk to a human, your account will be charged $55 dollars."_ Let’s see what changes today.

Rainbow Scratch gave me an idea. Scratch pads but other gradients 🤔

I think it works! Here's my test using my sona, Dynamo.

If you're an artist I highly recommend trying this! It's a lot of fun finding out how it's gonna be colored.
