A storm was moving across Donegal Bay on August 6, 2013. When standing at the top of the cliffs at Malin Beg, Donegal, Ireland, one might see a glimpse of Sligo on the horizon across Donegal Bay. When I zoom in on the photo, I can see Benbulbin mountain near Drumcliff, Sligo.

The western end of Horse Island ‘sits’ on the rolling swell as the tide recedes into the evening.
In the previous photo there’s a plateau on the profile of the island. Just visible from that distance are some caves. This is one of those caves below the plateau with a kayaker at the entrance for scale. The rock strata has formed in near vertical sweeping lines, almost at ‘1 o’clock to 7 o’clock.’ If you like.
