I dont generally go for cake but coffee cake always feels different. This one is a cheese-cake, where you ripnup cold cream cheese and fold it into the batter with berries. I subbed in yuzu chèvre, threw a bunch of turbinado sugar on top, and I must say the house smells AMAZING. #SkyBaking 🧁🍽

A top down picture of a white circular dish containing a souffle. It is puffy and has lots of variations of brown as the top got toasty at different times during the baking. I couldn't do a side shot because my dish was too big for it to puff way up over the top. This is my punishment for thinking "meh, it's a straightforward recipe, what could go wrong?" The answer includes things like "out of butter and grated parmesan, you have the wrong size dish, etc."
Woke up early to make treat breakfast for chefhubby and discovered that some pantry staples I always have on hand...were not. And my dish is 2 1/2 qt not 2. I don't mind jazz cooking, but early morning and no coffee? it really is insult upon injury.

Sticky buns covered in pecans. They have walked a fine line and are JUST on the wrong side of too dark.
Chefhubby has one work day in the midst of holiday vacation, largely because it will be slow and they've planned for everyone to bring in food to share. I stress the most giving food to the professionals he works with. Naturally my oven thermometer crapped out and they burnt. Sigh. #SkyBaking 🍽 🧁

First big day of baking off all our goodies for our pick up orders tomorrow. And prepping for all the bread and rolls we will be selling in-store. So exciting but holy heck am I gonan be so tierd after these next few days.
