Looking across a grassy area, kept more or less low by cattle in summer (not in there yet) with many low poplar suckers in the foreground, just leafing out. There are some trees just slightly in view to each side, but progressively more in view as you go farther and the lines converge, woodland to the right, and trees along a fenceline to the left. They are mostly poplars, a few birch to left, with bright green newly emerged leaves, alight with sunlight, and a few spruce dramatically dark against or poking through the light green. Straight ahead maybe 30 metres, there is a single large mature dark spruce tree in the open area, near the woods to the right, but separate. Around the same point and a little beyond is a mass of poplars to the left, so bright with sunlight on new leaves that they look artificial, as though they were pasted onto the image with dark blue grey sky behind.
Fantastic light yesterday as a cold/storm front approached. The trees with fresh bright green leaves were still catching sun against a nearly black sky, making it look as though they were pasted onto the scene. #nature #weather #spring #Alberta #Canada #SolaceInNature #BorealForest #CountryLiving 🌿📷
