This color image depicts an inflorescence of Mountail Laurel blooms. The flowers are a purplish blue. The leaves surrounding the blooms are a deep green by contrast. Known also as the "grape bubblegum tree" by locals, it has a faint scent that matches the description. Taken on an overcast, breezy day.
