The dragon is the Seal of the Moxian Republic, a fledgling nation carved out by some of the ancestors and cousins of the Astrakai Valds who migrated in the early ages of Ratham, carrying the ideals of self sufficiency, basic rights, automated necessities, and a hunger for cultural knowledge. Behind it lies the Seal of the Truth in the many old faiths of the old homeworld, which reminds every Astrakai Vald to maintain truth, morality, and curiosity, as are commanded by the pillars of several old faiths, especially that of Old Hyenna. The Sun and Moon represent the duality of mankind as well as a reference to the House of Ve'Tsuriya, the family of Allabastyr and others, who founded Astrakai in its current state. Around the center lies the words "Li Rinnahou ve Moksiya" in Kaninlan, the tongue of the Astrakai Valds, Which translate one of two ways: "The Republic of Moxia" as a reference to the old fledgling nation, or more literally taken, "The People's Will of Glory", to which the second meaning is taken into effect with the desire to instate a proper rulership while harkening back to the old traditions. The flower at the top left represents a blend between the Lotus of YhárJérmðr in Archae, and the Sacred Sigils of the Temple of Hearts in the ancient city of Angel's Bridge, the Holy City of the Old Hyennan faith in the lost homeworld. The Scythe and Lily in the bottom right stand for the political movement of the Astrakai Valds, which can be understood as "You reap that which you sew", emphasizing a desire for a meritocracy where a professional holds their right in the government for their field of work. The braided stripe patterns allude to the brave new home of the Valdic Union who took in their brethren of another world to grow strong together as one great valdic people. The green of the background calls to a respect for nature and a will to bring beauty into the world through culture and aesthetic expression.
