Thank you to everyone for sending in some awesometastic pics of the #sundogs across central #Wisconsin this morning.
We will see more of these throughout the next week as the #Arctic chill remains over the Badger State & we see quite a bit of sunshine at this time.
The sun comes up over a wetland. Tuffs of grass risexabive the wind driven snow which creates patterns on the landscape. The thin clouds sky obscure the sun, which is casting sundogs.

The Sun with sundogs on either side. Taken from my car with my iphone with my moonroof open. The sun is low in the center and the dogs can be seen on either side of the photo. Can't make out the halo though. The blue light is from the iphone, they are notorious for that. There are cars in the shopping centre parking lot and long shadows of streetlights on the ground.
