TIL that if `showmount -a` won't show the clients connected to your NFS server (with NFSv4), netstat is your friend:
netstat -anp | grep '<NFS SERVER IP>:2049' | grep ESTABLISHED

TIL that the only way to get rid of useless systemd-rc-local-generator log output is with this:
systemctl --global mask rc-local.service
echo -e '#!/bin/bash\nexit 0' > /usr/lib/systemd/system-generators/systemd-rc-local-generator

As the JIRA (yes, that was its name back then) log file used to say in the olden days, in ASCII art, when the startup procedure was over, and it was ready to use: "You've got issues!"
