#DesignDiary Day 348! I did some reorganisation of my video archive to put it on my external hard drive, so I can look at editing videos on my Mac in the hope it runs better. Then, I went and did more element icons for #TheCodex - I keep forgetting to cover them in these updates.

#DesignDiary Day 326! First third of the video now has recorded VO, and the second third is halfway scripted. I've also gotten further with #TheCodex icons: here are the EARTH, ELECTRIC, AIR and FIRE icons.
#DesignDiary Day 324! Continued work on the set of element icons for #TheCodex, as well as beginning scripting for the next video. We're about a page through on the script front, and currently have icons for PHYSICAL, RANGED, MAGIC, WATER, ICE and ENERGY on the icons front.

#DesignDiary Day 323! Released the finale of the Mania playthrough, which ended up taking me a year due to an embarrassingly iffy release schedule. Afterwards, continued work on #TheCodex, rebooting the style of the element icons. Check the ALT text for clarification, but what do you think?

#DesignDiary Day 287! Polishing up #TheCodex intro today and recorded footage for the penultimate Sonic Mania episode. I'm hoping to finish that as quickly as possible so that I can move onto focusing on Ring Racers and making some Codexes - diversify a little!
#DesignDiary Day 286! Finished an initial draft of #TheCodex intro. I'll likely do a glitch or film burn effect to transition between "screens" - I guess the glitching is set up by the loading at the start - and add audio. I'm thinking the SFX used in the OD trailer matches.
#DesignDiary Day 285! Began work on a new intro for #TheCodex - finally, I'm getting to use some of the logos I've been making over the last few months. I need to work on linking the parts together, but these are effectively the four "keyframes" we travel between.
#DesignDiary Day 284! Released a new video, then got straight to work on things related to #TheCodex. I really want to continue it soon, but everything needs to be ready first, including these element icons. To represent Ranged Damage, do you think the gun or crossbow works best?
#DesignDiary Day 282! 17/24 minutes are done currently - if I hurry tomorrow, I should be able to finish and edit it, though considering exports probably not upload it. Otherwise, I've been working on a new logo for #TheCodex - this is what I've got so far.
#DesignDiary Day 276! Finished Sol Sestancia 2 and have started collating my thoughts. I think it's got higher highs and lower lows than the first part, and I'll hopefully be able to put together a script tomorrow. Otherwise, kept working on various logos for #TheCodex.
#DesignDiary Day 274! Did some personal work, as well as some new logo mockups for #TheCodex. They're pretty varied, from abstract glyphs that wouldn't look out of place in Star Wars to just the words, but I think I've settled on one that has a fair degree of versatility.
#DesignDiary Day 253! Footage recorded and script completed for the next video, after I ran out of ideas yesterday and had to run to my Discord server to come up with something. Minor updates to #TheCodex, editing some of the gradients slightly.
#DesignDiary Day 252! Kept working on the logos from yesterday, though I think the first design for the "Jackalyte" logo is still the best. Still, got a design off the ground for the "Yakuza" logo, even if it still needs refining. Still working on #TheCodex, now with extra bars!
#DesignDiary Day 251! Working on a couple of logos for a future motion graphic. I've made a start on 3/4, though I don't like any of them and I've already scrapped everything for one of them to try again tomorrow. Also added a gradient to #TheCodex, and some directional feathers.

#DesignDiary Day 241! Worked a little more on #TheCodex, changing button designs and the marker to show new entries have been added to a list.
/some depth to #TheCodex background so that it "pops" more. I feel it's lacking "something", that "je ne sais quoi" that'll elevate it to look professional and tie it all together.
#DesignDiary Day 235! Strangely, began working on posters for videos I know can't be done before making other videos I haven't designed posters for. Did some more work on #TheCodex as well - little tweaks here and there.
