This novel gets a lot of hate from much of the TBP community, but as I was reading it I couldn’t understand why… Then I finished it.
That ending was so bad I almost wish I could go back in time and DNF.

Recently finished the astonishing #TrisolarisTrilogy by #LiuCixin. Truly an epic work, full of originality and well implemented twists. Sure to stick with me.
The full series I would probably only recommend to real sci-fi nerds, but #TheThreeBodyProblem gets a full recommendation to anyone!
I feel very alone being the only person I know watching #thethreebodyproblem and loving on it so hard WHAT an adaptation.

『死神永生』読了。SF好きな多くの人が考えるであろう宇宙の行末の描き方や「未来のシミュレーション』としての面が特に楽しめた。書きたいこと書いてる感が強くて楽しいだろうな、と。「歌い手」のシーンも面白かった。
他方人物描写の弱さも極まった感じもあり、『黒暗森林』ほどのカタルシスは感じず、ラストの展開も(巷にあるれる情報からなんとなく想像ついてたのはあるけど、それを差し引いても)なんだ惜しい感じが。
シリーズとしては『三体』が結局最も好みだったかも。
