A pencil drawing of a tree, from the trunk up to where the branches begin – the trunk manifesting two individuals. One looks slightly Elven/Gnomish, with mostly “human”-oid features and one arm cupped toward their middle, holding what looks like an acorn. The other is MUCH taller, and is vaguely person-shaped but composed of the tree’s material itself (branch-like legs, arms, fingers, bark instead of skin, smaller branches poking out from their head). Continuing linework on both forms indicate they are coming out of and still attached to the tree, and common design elements on both forms indicate they may be the same individual.

My latest #treecember sketch. I toned the paper with a light wash of light grey gouache and then drew with Verithin colored pencils on top of that. Just a little prowhite for the highlight on the right side. Enjoying figuring it all out.
