Despite its long history of being used in Fantasy fiction, I'm iffy to use the word "mana" in my project because of the cultural appropriation implications. I HAVE a suitable alternative, just I'm not sure of how well it's going to work for prospective players.

One of the things I really want to see pulled off well in a TTRPG is the Destiny / Profile system from Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning / Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Is it bad that my only worry with my #ttrpg is that people won't like that you have to think about magic and attacks like youre building equations?
Cause thats it. That's my biggest worry. People will have to think. I think that says a lot about the world.

Yesterday was what I'm calling the first of the final tests before arask levels 1-10 is done. There's a lot to tweak but it feels, so amazing. The players agreed. Now to run that fight over and over until we feel satisfied.

It’s not bad. It’s just not right. And “almost” isn’t good enough.
