Tail Floof upgrade! @piemur1.bsky.social fixed the UV mapping for me so that every triangle used the same texture. I then split the tail into two materials (w/ customisable colours, of course!) and added a normal map, make it looks so much fluffier!

VRCFTnyan 0.5 is out. This removes the helper EXE entirely and brings faster and simpler initialisation. This should, in theory, be feature complete, allowing you to use VR eye and mouth trackers in VNyan

Just released VRCFTnyan 0.4 - This version will no-longer freeze your face after you disable VR based face tracking.
I've also been able to confirm that eye tracking is working, in addition to mouth tracking and therefore I believe this is feature complete!

My BSky go-live tool is now available for testing
It's rough, it dumps API JSON to the console as it runs, you press Enter to exit it; BUT… It works, and being able to change the title that BSky shows to something custom is IMO genuinely useful!

I forgot to actually test if my #BeatSaber sync plugin even worked with the new model after setting up colour changing on her
It just worked! Only fix was removing a workaround the old model needed to get better colours
I think it looks a lot more effective with this model

My #VNyan -> #MixItUp plugin has been updated to 1.1b this is a quick hotfix to address the API changes in MIU 1.6
It /should/ work. I could only test the parts I actually use, so hopefully I haven't missed any!

If you are using this plugin DO NOT UPGRADE TO 1.6 until I have time to investigate and update it

VRCFTnyan is now a beta! It's also changed a lot from the alpha and requires a minimum #VNyan version of 1.6.6.
The external EXE is now only used to initialise VRCFT then is closes! Data is now sent direct to VNyan via OSC

Early alpha of my new plugin is out! VRCFTnyan lets VNyan talk to VRC Face Tracking and by extension supports basically every VR face tracker out there for your ARKit VTuber!
However I only have a mouth tracker, no eye tracker, so I can't fully test it!

🧵 So I think I've fixed my model issues. Figured out how to get VR tracking in the Unity editor, so I could recreate the issue, pause and look. It turns out that the skirt was only checking collision with hips and legs, it could clip through the stomach and get stuck.

I made this little collection of screenshots for posting about NyanSaber, but honestly I'm really happy with how it came out. The whole colour swapping my model thing was only ever a proof of concept, but I think it looks really nice, and am gonna keep it!

I spoke too soon!
NyanSaber 0.8 is out with a fix for SongStart events not getting sent if a map doesn't define environment boost colours. Fix done in the middle of a Beat Saber stream!

So it turned out there wern't any bugs in NyanSaber, but I have updated my VNyan-MixItUp plugin and StreamStartingTimer with new versions that properly send unicode to MIU (oops)

NyanSaber 0.7 is out. It turns out that the bug with the Menu trigger not getting called only applied at LogLevel3, and it's because the code to remove the base64 songCover PNG from the logs would crash if the beatMap JSON was null.
Full test in tomorrow's Beat Saber stream

New: Beatmap events - triggered on lighting changes etc.
Replaced LogSpam setting with LogLevel, from 0-4

LIVnyan 1.2 is out, bringing reduced camera latency, a bugfix, and a new "Cursed Camera" feature that allows for fast camera pans without position sync issues even when using high values in LIVs camera latency option
