Currently in the progress of creating my own bootleg version of Windows 3.1. Its gonna be based off Windows 97.
It even has the windows 9x style mini windows 3.1 installer, but this time it uses InnoSetup.

You'd be surprised how aggressively these old educational games are protected by their rights holders. I had to buy a physical copy. Weird for something that came out in 1995. Surely they aren't still making money on this Windows 3.1 game, right?
Installing Windows 3.1 in 2025 on my real hardware 486. It was not without challenges ^^ Debugging skills were critical.

Awesome! Got everything working correctly under Windows 3.1. Turns out the S3 driver set I got was the correct one after all and I got glorious 1024x768 with 32k colors mode working! 🎉
