Rewatched 13 Ghosts (1960). William Castle really said “what if horror, but with gimmicks and cardboard glasses”. Proper old-school spooky fun. Silly, creaky, oddly charming. They do not make them like this anymore.

It wasn't in the 1960 version so it didn't have to be. Makes for more striking visuals, I suppose? And, in this version, weren't they captive ghosts, rather than a haunted house? So maybe it's like the prison of horrors facility in "Cabin in the Woods"?🤷♀️
