This photograph was taken at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Arkansas. The garden was filled with beautiful art and architecture. This particular structure is Anthony Carillon Tower. The hollow, open air tower was striking, using line and pattern to create visual interest. Taken from the interior on a fall day, the gaps capture color and light as strong one point-perspective leads us up the structure to a blue sky. The facets that the tower creates with the beautiful colors make me think of a well faceted jewel.
